Are glass manifestations a legal requirement?
Yes. Under UK Building Regulations Approved Document M and BS 8300, glazed doors and panels in commercial buildings must be fitted with manifestations at two zones — between 850mm and 1000mm from floor level, and between 1400mm and 1600mm from floor level. The manifestations must contrast visually with the background and be at least 150mm high.
